2017 CBSE Board Exams to Start on 9th March

CBSE today announced that in view of the impending state elections in five states, the board exams for class X and XII will be held from 9th MArch, 2017. The five states that are going for elections include Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Manipur.

The new dates give the student a much required breather of an additional of 1 week. A total of 16 lakh students across 3974 centers are appearing for Class X board exams. Nearly 10.98 lakh students are writing Class XII exams across 3503 centers across the country.

2017 JEE Mains Date Extended

CBSE has extended the date of online submission of form for 2017 JEE Mains till 16th January, 2017. The fees can be paid till 17th January, 2017. The other requirements for submission of the online form does not change.
